Thank you for checking out my website! I am a 2025 graduate of Grand Valley State University’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, with a major in Film and Video. My love for photography and videography began in high school when I filmed and edited videos from ski trips with my friends and discovered the world of sports photography. In college, my understanding of the art widened, as I took classes that taught me editing techniques, dove deeper into the business of photography, and was given opportunities to take my talent to a professional level, working on student film sets, making connections that allowed me to assist in wedding videography, and becoming Director of Photography for 494 Magazine, Grand Valley’s premier fashion magazine. Through these opportunities, I not only gained knowledge of the art but deepened my love for it. From taking disposable camera photos of my friends hanging out in the living room to being known on rock climbing and ski trips as “the guy with the camera”, working with local bands, being part of the production process of a magazine, and creating invaluable memories in doing senior portraits and wedding photography, my wide range of skills can fit any occasion, and I approach every occasion with excitement and professionalism, aiming to capture the natural aesthetics of my clients and maintaining a comfortable environment.
